Great Plains Chapter of PCMA

History/Overview of Chapter

The Great Plains Chapter was founded in March of 2010. The chapter's opening meeting was held on March 22nd, 2010, at Omaha Country Club.  This chapter was founded to give membership directors in the Great Plains region an opportunity to connect and network with other club membership and marketing professionals in the area.  Many clubs in our area operate without a membership and marketing professional and our hope is that this chapter will help generate awareness of how important this position really is.  Our chapter is located in the heart of the US and supports central midwest cities that are home to many fortune 500 companies.  Although our chapter is very new we are anxiously looking forward to growth, development, and opportunity.

Ladies Golf 101 Clinic Held
On Wednesday, May 16th, the PCMA Great Plains Chapter met at Lochland Country Club in Hastings, NE.  Following education and a luncheon, a Ladies' Golf 101 clinic was hosted by head golf professional, Hank McFarland.  Professional McFarland discussed basic golf techniques and guided the ladies through a clinic adding a new piece to the PCMA gathering.  This new golf portion was created to help encourage the PCMA ladies to feel comfortable enough to learn me of golf and hopefully be able to better promote golf memberships.
